It’s been almost a week since I’ve flown. And I still have to wait another 8 days! I know I could have done the 172, but I just didn’t feel comfortable doing that.
I’ve been trying to keep up with my studying though but, of course, life has once again gotten in the way of my awesome plan. I’m 3 units into the Gleim book. While Gleim is a “knowledge transfer system” I’ve learned that if you have no clue what they are talking about that knowledge won’t transfer too well. The whole section on different types of altitudes and alimetry, it was like reading gibberish again. There isn’t just one altitude? Nope, there are like 4 types. Embraer Boyfriend was home during this time so he was able to sit down with me and a PowerPoint he had to explain it all. Afterwards, my head hurt too much to study anymore. And that part was only less than 1/4 of that PowerPoint. I told him I felt sorry for his students.
My hopes are for one day that my brain doesn’t hurt after studying a new topic. I have a feeling that isn’t how aviation works.
