I’ve neglected you all for far too long. There has been a series of events that has contributed to this neglect. It’s mostly the soul-sucking thing called work for the past two years. If anyone tells you merging airlines is easy, they are liars.
I believe we’ve finally reached the light at the end of the tunnel. My nights and weekends won’t be spent mentally drained that the idea of studying or writing just seems like too much.
The plan this year is to write more, but not only that, try to finally go for that commercial rating! Research needs to be done, and time planned, but maybe in April or May it can commence!
There is also the need to write about past events which I hope to do soon. I got my seaplane rating summer of 2019. I went to Oshkosh for the first time too, so look for those.
Lastly, I’m curious to know if anyone would be interested in reading more about airline operations from the side of the dispatcher? If so, I can begin writing about that more.
A lot of lofty promises here. Time to follow through on them!
