I just got two, count them two, flying magazines in the mail today. Time to be distracted, probably only for a little bit. I always get excited about getting AOPA’s Flight Training magazine, because it has good tips in them and I always learn something new. It’s something I look forward to every month and then regret finishing it within the first day and having to wait another month for a new issue.
Plane & Pilot is good too. Doesn’t help so much with training tips but has interesting articles in it. Last month, I read a great one about intensive instrument training. I’m still waiting on my subscription to Flying magazine to start coming, I’ve gotten a hat and something to request more issues yet haven’t received my first one yet.
Now, of course, I really need to be reading my notes. EB was nice enough to use hotel/crew room ink to print them out. He also loved to tell me that it was only about 1/3 of the notes he gave me. Lots of reading to do.
